University of Dayton, Ohio
Our fixed net tuition plan means greater affordability and peace of mind for your families. How?
Learn through Hands-On Training
We’ll bring employers to students, so they can interview for internships (and eventually for jobs) right on campus. On campus, students can redefine business education, serve the community and take their skills to corporate America through Flyer Enterprises, the fourth-largest student-run business in the country.
Learn through Studying Abroad
Whether for a summer, semester or year, students can study, intern or volunteer in places all over the world. We’ll even provide a study abroad scholarship, and students can study in China, Ireland or Spain at no additional cost.
Want to know about an opportunity that makes UD really special? We have an institute in China. Through the UD China Institute, students can spend a semester gaining an international perspective for today’s job market. They’ll be in a modern student apartment in Suzhou, a city where one-third of the world’s Fortune 500 companies have offices, and learn from UD professors, international professionals and prominent leaders in innovation.
Learn through Innovation
Because of UD’s top-tier talent, two Fortune 500 companies recently built research facilities right on campus. GE Aviation’s facility is a $53 million Electrical Power Integrated Systems Center, and Emerson’s is a $35 million innovation center.
Learn through Research
UD is a top-tier Catholic research institution, ranked No. 1 in the nation for sponsored engineering research and development. Students pursue one-of-a-kind research that matters with Fortune 500 companies GE Aviation and Emerson and through our 30 research centers and institutes.
With these hands-on learning opportunities, students gain the skills and tools needed to succeed. That’s one reason 95 percent of students are employed, in graduate school or in a full-time graduate program within six months of graduation.

Open House: Bring your family — and learn more about our family — at an Open House. Join us on September 30 or November 11, 2018, and meet students, faculty and administrators, and discover why more than 8,000 students call the University of Dayton their home-away-from-home.
Our fixed net tuition plan means greater affordability and peace of mind for your families. How?
- No tuition increases. UD students’ scholarships and grants increase to offset any rising tuition costs, so families will pay the same amount each year. Through this plan, our students have reduced borrowing by more than 28 percent.
- No fees. No surcharges. No hidden expenses. At other universities, these can actually cost up to $20,000 over four years.
- Textbook scholarship. We know that many students don’t buy textbooks because of the cost. If your students visit UD and file the FAFSA by Feb. 1, they can receive a textbook scholarship worth up to $4,000 over four years.
- Study abroad scholarship. We want your students to become global leaders, so we offer a $3,000 study abroad scholarship. Students can study in China, Ireland or Spain at no additional cost.
